Is therapy scary?

It’s completely normal to feel nervous about starting therapy. Opening up about personal struggles can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time.


At LOIS Wellness, we meet you with compassion and confidentiality, not judgment. You set the pace, and we guide you gently—always respecting your privacy and maintaining full confidentiality.


Many clients tell us their only regret is not starting sooner.

What should I expect in my first session?

Your first session is about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It’s a safe space where you can speak freely and ask any questions.

We’ll work together to create a plan that feels right for you.

How long is a therapy session?

Sessions typically last 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of therapy and your individual needs.


Individual - 60mins

Couples - 90 mins

Family - 90 mins

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone’s journey is different. Some clients feel better after a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support.

We’ll discuss your progress regularly and adapt as needed.

Is everything I say in therapy confidential?

Yes. We adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines to protect your privacy. The only exceptions are situations involving immediate risk or legal obligations, which we will explain clearly in our first meeting.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Absolutely. We provide therapy through secure online sessions, making it convenient and accessible for clients wherever they are.
